The 18th annual Harbor and Seafood Festival Santa Barbara is coming soon! This festival celebrates all of the delectable seafood Santa Barbara is known for, and gives you a chance to try it yourself. Visit the festival and gain a greater appreciation of the harbor workers who provide all of the incredible seafood to the Santa Barbara area!
What is the Harbor and Seafood Festival Santa Barbara?
The Harbor and Seafood Festival Santa Barbara is an annual tradition that celebrates all of the harbor workers and seafood they catch in the Santa Barbara Harbor. The Harbor regularly houses over 1,000 boats and daily you’ll see all of the workers busy catching seafood for all of the restaurants that depend on it.
Yearly, fisherman in the Santa Barbara Harbor land over 10 million pounds of seafood. That’s over $30 million for the local economy and beyond! So each year, the second Saturday in October is dedicated to the Harbor and Seafood Festival. And the best part is that the festival stars this food, so you can satisfy your seafood cravings when you attend.
