Independence Day is quickly approaching and that means celebrations! Join the Santa Barbara 4th of July festivities to celebrate America’s independence with a focus on fun! There will be a parade, food, music, and of course: fireworks. You don’t want to miss all of these fun activities.
Stearns Wharf celebrations
Join us on Stearns Wharf for a day-long Santa Barbara 4th of July celebration! Hang out and spend your day participating in the fun activities while you wait for the nighttime fireworks celebration.
Enjoy live music, face painting, wine tasting, palm reading, and shopping. Festive treats will be available such as ice cream, sherbet, candy, popcorn, fudge, and cotton candy. If you’re looking for more of a meal, choose from fresh fish, shellfish, steaks, prime rib, fish and chips, burgers, and more! You can also rent fishing gear to try your hand, explore the interactive Sea Center museum, and take child friendly water taxi and harbor tours.

West Beach festivities
If you want to hang out on the beach, head over to West Beach for music, food, and fun! There will be plenty of local vendors at the beach for you to walk by and explore. You can also get your face painted to commemorate the holiday. Let the live music set the tone for the day as you enjoy the talented performers. And at the end of the night, you’ll be in a prime spot to see the fireworks show!
