What is the Old Spanish Days Fiesta?
Old Spanish Days is an annual festival dedicated to “honoring and preserving Santa Barbara’s history, spirit, culture, heritage and traditions.” For almost 100 years, this festival has celebrated Santa Barbara’s rich cultural history, and Old Spanish Days 2021 is no different. Here, you can experience music, parades, dancing, rodeos, food & drink, and more! As one of our most popular festivals, both visitors and locals alike flock to the Fiesta for five days of fun.

This year, the festival runs from August 4th – August 8th.
What can I do at the Fiesta?
Old Spanish Days 2021 has a schedule packed with fun events for all ages! From August 4-7, you can explore a colorful Mexican market across the street from City Hall. At the market, you can enjoy delicious foods, listen to live music, and shop for souvenirs. Another event, the Fiesta Stock Horse Show, features barrel racing, roping, and other rodeo events.
