What is Lotusland?
Lotusland Santa Barbara is the former estate of Madame Ganna Walska, a talented Polish opera singer.
Now, Lotusland aims to preserve this unique and historic estate and its many collections. They also develop and expand the conservation and horticulture programs. In this way, the flora at Lotusland can continue to educate and inspire us. Lotusland hopes the garden will help others understand and appreciate the importance of plants in each of our lives as well as Earth’s.
Where is Lotusland?
Well, we can’t tell you. No, really–it’s a secret! Lotusland Santa Barbara is a public garden, but it is located in a private, residential neighborhood. So to keep the neighborhood from getting disturbed at all times of the day, Lotusland allows you to schedule tours.
Once you schedule a tour, you’ll receive the address and directions to the garden.

Adults: $50

What will I see on the tour?
On the tours, you’ll see a series of gardens. In these gardens you’ll find subtropical and tropical plants from around the world. You’ll be wowed with new surprises around every corner during the two hour tour! Learn about horticultural and historical significance of the estate and its plants.
