When is the Santa Barbara Van Gogh exhibit?
This exhibit opens on February 27, 2022 and runs through May 22, 2022 at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. You can view this exhibit on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday each week.
What can you see there?
Here, you’ll be able to dive into the visual imagination of Vincent Van Gogh. 20 of his works of art will be on display, alongside over 75 objects chosen to reflect the art that inspired him. As you explore this exhibit, you’ll gain a greater appreciation of Van Gogh’s mind, his art, and his life.
And it doesn’t stop with Van Gogh! You’ll also be able to see the work of over 60 other iconic artists, including Jules Breton, Jean-François Raffaëlli, Eugène Delacroix, Claude Monet and Paul Gauguin. In addition to these artists, you’ll also be able to see first-editions of novels that inspired Van Gogh’s imagination, with authors such as Charles Dickens, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Leo Tolstoy, and Edgar Allan Poe.
