Santa Barbara County Courthouse
Built in the roaring twenties, the Santa Barbara County Courthouse is one of Santa Barbara’s oldest and most beautiful structures, offering a look at local history while providing breathtaking structural beauty. It is open to the public every day, including holidays, except for Christmas Day. Donations are encouraged.
On the first Thursday of every month, downtown Santa Barbara art galleries and other participating venues present local art and music for the public to enjoy. Admission is free from 5-8PM and is open to tourists and residents alike, giving you a view of the local color and local artwork as well as an opportunity to bring home something truly memorable from your trip to Santa Barbara.
Stearns Wharf is a beautiful beachside area with an abundance of local boutiques coupled with gorgeous ocean views. Although it’s free to wander around the wharf and take in the view, we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to resist buying beautiful and handmade souvenirs from the many shops along the way!
