It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for us to share our featured spot of the week with all of you! It’s our way of giving you ideas on where to go and what to see while you stay with us, while also supporting our neighbors here in Santa Barbara. This week we’re featuring a Lebanese restaurant located in the heart of the city: Zaytoon.
Zaytoon was founded in 2005, and has been thriving ever since. It’s named after the Lebanese word for olive, a staple in Lebanese cuisine. Their patio has a vibrant garden, fire pits, and waterfalls, creating a relaxing atmosphere for their guests.
It’s a great spot for a dinner date or a night out with friends. They’re known for their kebabs and shawarma, as well as their exquisite baklava. Baklava is a flaky Mediterranean pastry filled with walnuts and honey.
Zaytoon serves hookah on the patio in the evenings for those who truly want to receive the full cultural experience. They even host belly dancing performances for guests. It’s a unique restaurant that everyone should try when they visit Santa Barbara.
If you’ve haven’t scheduled your stay yet, book an affordable room with us at Marina Beach Motel. It’s the best place to lay your head during your next Santa Barbara adventure!
