Featured Spot of the Week: Bouchon

Every week we feature a local spot in Santa Barbara that we love. We do this to share our appreciation with our guests and give them some ideas for places to go during their stay with us. This week we’re featuring a trendy, upscale restaurant called Bouchon.

Founded in 1998, Bouchon has been serving exquisite French dishes and local Santa Barbara wine for nearly two decades now. It has won multiple awards and even been spotlighted in both Bon Apetit and Santa Barbara Magazine.

It’s known for its warm ambience and authentic dishes that are made with only locally sourced ingredients. Even their wine list is comprised solely of Santa Barbara county wines.

It’s a great place to go for a romantic date night or even a night out with friends, where you can try authentic French cuisine and sip on Santa Barbara wine.

Guests especially love Bouchon’s Dungeness crab cakes which are topped with citrus aioli and complemented with grapefruit and a slice of avocado. Their authentic French onion soup is another popular dish. Plus the many Santa Barbara wine pairing options don’t hurt!

Next time you stay with us at Marina Beach Motel, be sure to make a reservation at Bouchon. It’s an authentic French dining experience with a California accent that you won’t want to miss out on.
